Personal Training
Personal training sessions take place at the fully private LIFTED studio (TN14 7EQ).
I design and guide a customised exercise programme tailored to your specific fitness goals, needs and abilities.
I have a holistic approach to personal training (If you're looking for a Bootcamp-style Drill Sergeant I'm not the right trainer for you!). I meet every individual where they are at, and meet both your physical and emotional needs during training.
How it works:
We begin with an evaluation of your fitness level, health history, life circumstances, goals and physical limitations, and then I create an exercise programme designed specifically for your objectives.
I will guide you through the programme, teaching exercise form and techniques for injury prevention and maximal results.
I will encourage you and keep you accountable, which helps you to stay consistent with your workouts. I track all of your progress, celebrate your wins, and adjust programmes as needed to keep you on track.
You will receive education on fitness principles, nutrition basics, and the importance of recovery, which will help you adopt a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
Each 1:1 coaching relationship is unique, so the approach is tailored to each individual.

Learn To Lift Master Class
Learn To Lift Masterclass Courses are run in a small group (women only) over three 1-hour sessions or as a half-day course at the fully private LIFTED studio (TN14 7EQ).
These master classes are for women who don't know how to lift weights and want to learn more. You won't feel awkward or out of place as everyone is in the same boat.
We are in a private space with no one else watching on, so we can make fools of ourselves as much as we want and have fun with it!
All ages (over 16), shapes, sizes and fitness levels are welcome. You don't have to look a certain way to lift weights - EVERYONE should be doing it. You don't have to have a certain level of fitness either - we find the right starting point for you and you learn how to build up from there.
You will learn how to lift weights using the correct form and techniques, and put an effective strength training workout together without the ongoing expense of personal training.
At the end of the course you will take away a home dumbbell training programme & log book and will also have the opportunity to join weekly LIFTED Strength Training Classes if you so wish (limited availability).

LIFTED Strength Classes

Strength Classes are hard to come by, so I have created one specifically for women who want to keep their body strong with my guidance and accountability, but without the expense of Personal Training or the sometimes uncomfortable feeling of lifting weights alone in a gym.
Once you've had an introduction into the movement basics (at either the Master Class or a couple of Personal Training sessions) you have the option of attending the weekly in-person Strength Classes (limited availability).
As with the Master Class, we are in a private space with no one else watching on. All ages (over 16), shapes, sizes and fitness levels are welcome. You don't have to look a certain way to lift weights - EVERYONE should be doing it. You don't have to have a certain level of fitness either - we find the right starting point for you and then progress from there. The only pre-requisite to joining the class is that you've had an introduction to moving under load via my Learn To Lift Master Class or over a couple of Personal Training sessions.
All class participants will follow the same programmed block (usually over 6 weeks). This means the exercises and format remain the same for the duration of the programme, but everyone uses the weights specific to their current ability and increase gradually across the course of the block.
I will guide participants on form, technique and progression. Each participant will have their own log book to track their progress.

The LIFTED Online Community will provide online support, on demand workouts, weekly Q&A's, and strategies for staying consistent with physical, nutritional & mental fitness.
We're all in this together trying to do the best we can, and the community is a great space for motivation and to help keep each other on track.
